Course: BI 232 Encountering the Book of Genesis

Course Description:
This course is a study of the content and issues of the Book of Genesis, with emphasis on the theological message and practical significance. The tree essential themes in the course are God, people, and the gospel as it relates to humankind. The student encounters God’s creation, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, and the authorship of Genesis.

Audit Students and “Sit-In” Learners:
• Audit Students: Costs = Price of Text Book(s) $10 Materials Fee.
Audit class members allowed on a ratio of 2-to-1 (1 audit per 2 credit tuition students). The admittance of an audit student is upon a 1st come, 1st admitted basis.
• “Sit- in” of class is welcome, but text may not be available. Material fee of $10.
